Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to animals in an animal care setting - Perform animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of animals - Monitor and assess the health and behavior of animals under your care - Administer medications and treatments to animals as prescribed by veterinarians - Maintain accurate records of animal care - Ensure that animal enclosures are clean, comfortable, and properly maintained - Provide assistance with pet sitting services, including feeding, exercise, and basic grooming Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior - Experience in animal handling - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
